Storage Hot Water Systems

Rinnai, being one of the leading manufacturers and innovators in the industry, continuously manufactures traditional storage hot water systems. This type of hot water system was the earliest model of water heaters that were made available commercially. The tanks which serve as the storage of hot water come in different sizes to accommodate different capacities. 

Rinnai’s storage hot water systems are also available in different energy sources. Gas storage hot water systems can be powered using natural gas or LPG. It comes in 135 to 170 litres capacity which is perfect for larger families.

The electric storage hot water systems in Rinnai are developed to cater to a wider audience by being available in a compact size of 25 litres to a bigger capacity of 400 litre Rinnai electric storage hot water system! 

The heat pump storage hot water systems of Rinnai come in two subcategories, the all-in-one heat pump and the split heat pump. The all-in-one heat pump uses 300 grams of R290 refrigerant which is cost-efficient in the long run. The split heat pump is the traditional heat pump hot water system that collects heat in the environment and transforms it into energy to heat the water. It can save a hot water bill up to 25%. 

Continuous Flow Hot Water

Continuous Flow Hot Water Systems are also called tankless or instantaneous hot water systems. This type of hot water system is one of the early innovations from the traditional hot water storage systems. The continuous flow hot water system was first introduced to the Australian market by Rinnai in the 1990s and it has changed the game of hot water systems in the country. 

Currently, Rinnai has two units for this type of hot water system – Infinity Model and Instantaneous Model. All the units under these models are gas-powered and the Infinity units are Rinnai’s newest offerings which are designed to be more environmentally-friendly. 

Solar Hot Water Systems

The solar hot water systems of Rinnai have three model units. The first one is the gas boosted solar hot water systems. This unit is only available in the continuous flow system and is built around Rinnai Infinity’s technology. The second unit is the Sunmaster solar range which is created to efficiently gather energy from the sun and maximize it to heat water in the tank. The third unit is the Prestige range which can reduce the electricity consumption of your hot water system by 2/3s when the electric storage hot water system is replaced by this unit.
